| I'm not the most judgemental person in the world.But Yes,I do judge. I know its not the nicest thing to do.But sometimes I can't help it.I just judge! I was just analyzing few things and wondering why do I judge ,what makes me judge,I didn't get any answer.But I realised... I judge people who judge other people for things I don't judge people on.Than I stumbled upon this quote  PS: Do,you judge me by this post :P  |

ReplyDeleteThat Einstein quote is one of my favourite. It talks about self esteem on one hand and empathy [non-judgemental thinking }on the other hand.
The world may judge us by some common standards but we have "different abilities" and we are "unique'. So, everybody cannot be judged based upon the same assumptions. What is good for you may not be good for me and vice versa. For example, if I am judged on my mathematical ability , I might be a failure but if I am judged on my cooking skills I might be a winner. Similarly, if a famous mathematician is judged on his cooking skills he will be a failure!So now what is more important/bigger ? Cooking/Kitchen or Mathematics/ Scientific lab ?
The answer is: to each his own ,whatever I feel comfortable in. But the world will always say "mathematics ".
Or a criminal/terrorist may be hated by the whole world but his mother may love him and even try to justify his so called faults !!!

In the final analysis, I want to say that as long as we belong to a particular country,class,gender,culture,caste, We will have the "tendency" to judge others who do not belong to our category. But too much judgement leaves no time for love. As Mother Teressa says-if you judge people , you will have no time to love them.
Also, constantly judging others shifts the focus from "you" to "them". We lose your valuable energy which you could have utilized for your own good.
Moreover,by "judging" others, sometimes we become 'blind' to our own faults.
So, we have to lessen our judging habit if we cannot discard it for good.
Well, these are just my views.
