Its not a 'YES'

'N' for nitrogen and 'O' for oxygen.. "NO"
Yep. I'm learning to say 'NO'. Its not that complicated, neither its that simple. Its just a two letter word and can be easily pronounced.
Umm..just try saying 'YES' like 1000times,you will get it ;)

I used to find it very hard saying NO to people and even if I did say NO, I used to ponder over it all day long. But not now,I think I'm getting hang of it..and somehow,I do feel normal,I think I'm OKAY! :)

Excepting Hope ?

Someone told me I expect a lot from people.Well,it may be true but my feeling was that I don't really expect I just hope.

Whatever it was I thought for a week(at least) lemme implement this "No expectation" policy and it really worked. Life is so much happier now :).
I've learnt to accept people have their lives and probably better things to do than deal with my expectation.
It hurts sometimes, but its okay..that's what Life is!

But I still HOPE :)

Happily Unmarried

Ever been around people who make you bang your head and pull your hair out. I encountered few today. And I call them 'Relatives'.

Read on..
Relative A:So,when are you getting married?
Me:I'm what ?

Relative B:All your friends are getting married left and right,no?
Me:So?

Relative A: You should too..
Me: Just because my friends did?

Relative B:No its the right time you know.
Me:When is the right time, I buy a lottery ticket and win?

Relative B: So ,are you never getting married? Who will look after you after your parents?
Me: You mean after their death? Your are killing them? What if "he" dies before ?

They had no answer but whispered saying she will never get married this way *sigh*
That's the idea.

Note: Relatives,Friends and all earthlings,I'm happily unmarried so just stop worrying about my marriage there are many more important things in life like commonwealth games, worry about it.
:D

To,

I was a little dicey writing something like this but I did write .
It might be a bit silly to read though..

Okay..
Not so long ago,I had asked him..
"Kya main aapko Bhaiya bula sakathe hu" ?
And he had said "It takes time u know, its a big responsibility".
Actually at that point I didn't quiet understand the term "responsibility" and said its OK,I understand.Than, life had moved on. After that,I didn't talk much to him.

But today I realised something, just being some one's sister or a brother is not all that. You have to be there like a brother or a sister. It is a big huge responsibility.

I'm sorry.

PS1: I don't know.But,can I still wish u?

"Raksha Bandhan Ki Shubhkamnaye"

PS2: We still are friends,right ? :D

Some of the Most times..

Sometimes I know what I want to do.But most of the times I know what I don't want to do.

Sometimes I know the answers. But most of the times I have all the questions.

Sometimes I wish its all ended. And most of the times I really wish its all ended.

Ah,its so confusing..
Sometimes I try to ignore it,but most of the times I fail :(

** Parking

We were charged 50bugs for just 20mins of parking in a xyz mall and the rear view mirror was broken. When asked they said..don't u read the terms and conditions at d back of the parking ticket?

Well, this is what was written at the back of 'The Parking Ticket'

#Parking at owner’s risk (Yeah, it is our own risk alright! ).

#Mall not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles, regardless of cause. (Sorry, come again? Why do we have to pay 50 bugs? )

#Loss of ticket should be reported to management for vehicle to exit from mall. (Hell I will, do u think I will leave my vehicle alone? )

#In case of dispute, mall’s decision is final. (Huh? And what about the courts? You’re bigger than them?)

#Picking up a parking ticket means the customer is accepting terms and conditions of the mall. (Even if you cheat me?)

Lesson learnt :- Don't ignore that little star(*) like thing on any paper. It means a LOT.
*Terms and conditions.

I heard,I saw & I write??

All I heard was..
Brakes! Thump! A crash & a siren.

And saw..
Liters of blood flowing like a river.
And I was like, wow my first live accident and later was shell shocked!!

The person was hit hard on the head. Oh yes,he had forgotten his damn helmet.

Come on..
Your brain doesn't stop growing,if you wear one! Even if it makes you look ugly,go bald,go deaf, dumb, whatever ..
It still saves your head, your life!

Use your head,wear helmet!

Remember, for some there is hell and for others there are helmets!! :D

- Lesson's Learnt -

Rules are not always bad.

World is not cruel, its just wicked.

Patience is the key,to a beautiful life.

Sometimes fights are better than silence.

Being too good,is too bad.

Life isn't at all cubical ~~ Keep Travelling :)

/*Shopping*/

#include < money.h >
#include < credit cards.h >

main()
{
Pritf("shopping");
Scanf(shops,more shops);
}

What is it about women and shopping?? Being a women I still haven't figured that out.
Shopping for me is a pain in the neck.I shop only when I need to shop.
For me its all a 10min job.Enter a shop, spend some 5min or so to decide, buy it and bill it. All done!!
But for my friend its otherwise. She spends hours just choosing, some min's to try them out and a few sec's to reject them and move on to the next shop and
{repeat until loop}.
exit();

But by the end of the shopping trip,we both end up buying decent stuff, the difference is;she would still have some money left in her wallet. I wonder, how?

50.0

Yippee!! Hooray!! Whee!!!
Why I'm so excited?? Its my 50th post and Scrabble's 3rd birthday :)
When I started blogging I never tot I could even write the 5th post.
So, for me 50 is a big number to celebrate :)
"Happy Birthday Scrabble"
A lil about Scrabble..
Scrabble is more of a introvert blog.It doesn't have much followers and it follows only few.Its more of a silent reader ;)

Scrabble is something where I shout,I laugh,I cry and I express :) It is something that lets me do anything right from creating the world to destroying it :D

As someone said -The heart and soul of blogging is the individual and/or the group of individuals opining on the fly and responding post-haste to one and all .
So, at this special moment of my blog I would like to thank few special people who have inspired me, encouraged me,criticized me and even threatened me not to blog hehe..

Mandy - She criticzes more than she comments and thank u for that :)
Do criticzes more :P

Varun- No matter how bad I write,he likes it he doesn't like it..he is always there to comment.
He is the only follower of my blog and I'm honoured for that :)
His posts are wonderful and I love reading them.
I'm thankful to google for having me bumped into his blogosphere.

Nj & Vichu- They were the first readers and commenters. My blogposts are actually 'our' inspirations ;)
Thank you for all the comments Nj.
Thank you for all other comments Vichu hehe..

Babitha - Thank you for all the mail u send me in the form of comments :)

The Rest of KT-15 - I know u all do read my blogs.I appericiate that. Thank you so much:)

And last but not the least- The rest .. I will continue blogging :D

Minding my Heart..

Right now my heart wants to say 100 things and my mind wants to do 100+1 things.

My mind wants to scream!!
And heart, wants to cool it down.

When it comes to decisions why is there a conflict between heart and mind always??
Why can't they both compromise and come to a agreement?
In the battle between the two,why should I be killed??
Why do they have to screw me up again??

I demand Equlibrium!! :)

Silent Killer

5.30 in the morning.
'Silent Park'.

Everything around seemed to be muted.
People were walking in silence, jogging in silence, meditating in silence and even talking in silence.

A guy walked in.Hands free plugged in his ears, he tried to unwind the wire around but he unplugged it 'accidentally'.

And then in damaging decibels we heard..
"uff teri ada,I like the way you move,
uff teri badan,I like the way you groove.. "

For a moment I thought people around will join him for chorus and sing uff teri ada.. @#$%^&^*~`@**@#%*^%!

But they all moved on --- in silence.
Unbelievable !:P

jam'ME'd

I had to take a bus today from east end to silk board.(Those are two different areas which are like two miles away, but takes at least 40min by any 'ground vehicle')

Anyways I waited for a good 20min at the bus stop only to land myself on a crowded 'DVD BUS'.The bus was packed.I somehow managed to get in but getting out was one adventure.I had to ask two people to move their legs, three to shift their luggage,a few to move aside and took permission from two to step on their baggage, brush past a screaming kid and than I was able to reach my destination 'the door' only to get down on the next stop.
Phew!!

Even if they provide free popcorn along with the movies.I'm never travelling by DVD bus ever again.

My Vote, My Voice.

"Burhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike"
BBMP Elections/Corporate Elections/Municipal Elections

The election which decides "The Mayor" of Bengaluru.
The "Mayor" who will provide us free candles during power cuts.
The "Mayor" who will supply bisleri water when there is no water supply.
The "Mayor" who will drop us in his helicopter whenever there's traffic jam ;)
Or the "Mayor" who will just make "Burhat Bribe Money Paisa"
Heck!!

"Why should we vote?/Why did I vote?"

I voted becoz
It was duty and not my right
I voted becoz..
The next time I crib about bad roads,I won't feel guilty
I voted becoz..
I wanted my vote to count
I voted becoz..
After all, it was my first BBMP election :)

...and my vote goes to

I voted for a independent candidate..reason??
>He/She are not any party biased ..hehe
>I hope He/She at least get their 'deposit' back ;)

I'm least bothered about the results who wins, who loses doesn't matter..becoz we will still have to drive/walk on bad roads,we will still have to depend on ups for power,we will still have buy drinking water.
Elections like this do not make a difference.

"Quote for the day"

All politicians are corrupt, but not all corrupts are politicians, they are Leaders :D

Jai Hind.Jai Voters :D

...quite a speech no? :)

Anyways,Bengalureans did ya vote?

Iweeting,Plogging,Lrkutting

Everybody is tweeting about IPL,blogging about IPL,orkutting about IPL and even facebooking about IPL .
I even saw someone updating "scores" as his status message..I mean scores?? Phulease! :O

Hmm... I wonder, do they even watch matches.

By the way RC won the toss and are fielding ...
Hope Delhi wins today :)

Odds

I think everything in life is random.
There is something in randomness that fascinates me,there is something in it that makes me feel random ...
There is some inherent charm to know that, you don't know whats next..like the shuffle mode on the ipod ..
There is some joy in being unpredictable..and thats how it should be.
{Screw Chaos theory :P}

P.S-Just read an article on chaos theory and it was boring!! :D

I use GTalk, therefore IM.

Ping!Ping!!
Some of my friends on gtalk don't respond me back when I ping them.May be they don't like me.May be they are busy chatting with someone else.May be they hate me.May be they are ignoring me or may be they are actually busy.

But if they are actually busy..then damn why don't they use the nice red dot beside their name?? :X

P.S -I'm on "invisible mode" :P

Realization...

For some reason I realized something today..
I realized that "Life is just a do it yourself kit" but without the instruction leaflet.
Its just the pieces here and there, that you need to reassemble.
Fix them, join them or break them..its your choice, your only choice.

Huh!Late realization,you say??

I agree :)

The 'ONE'

How does one know... how does one know that 'She/He' is the 'ONE'? what if you don’t end up marrying the 'ONE' instead you end up marrying the other one. Then is the other one the 'ONE'? :P

P.S., Now,don't get thinking I'm not finding my 'ONE'
Its just the song in my head :D

Ghosts of past...

Those were the days when one lunch was shared by 15 people, even a smile or a good morning would be the talk of the day for us all, sitting in groups laughing/smiling,discussing the most silly matters, talking about something totally unnecessary, collecting Rs.2 daily for that 'someday' treat, waiting in the bus stops just to walk all the way..those silly fights, birthday treats and trips...hmmm

"Why do I feel the ghosts of my past laughing at me?"

I Dipa Shashi voicing out the hidden silence in all of us :)

Some Sorts...

Have you come across..'NON-COMMUNICATIVE PEOPLE'?? The ones that don't communicate and communicate only when it is convenient for them to communicate...those sorts.

They say it takes all sorts to make the world and thats my problem.I just hate these sorts! They start off with some light discussion..then carry on to discuss a situation that revolves around themselves and then they go on and on and on.However, when it comes to our problem their ears go deaf. These are certain personalities that kill my vibe factor. They just get on my nerves.

Incomplete...

Inexplicable ...

I hate myself!!

I hate myself for the person I've become in terms of emotions and feelings these days.A couple of years back,I used to be the kind of person who would give 100% to every relationship. My friends meant the world to me!And now,I seem to have taken a step back from everything.I do feel like meeting them, spending some time with them but...
I can't explain this, nor can I understand this myself. And the more I wish for this to change, the more it happens.

I don't know why..its just inexplicable!

'Bus Day'

In an attempt to create awareness on the advantages of using mass transportation,BMTC and the transport department are organizing the `Bus Day’ on the 4th day of every month this year.

The concept will kickstart on February 4.

I'm so excited just by the thought. Finally, they are doing something about the traffic in Bengaluru.Appreciate it!

I personally request all people in Bengaluru to take a bus atleast on the bus day of every month and help us breathe :)

"Take a Bus ride with pride leaving your vehicles aside" (That actually rhymed :D)

Whats cooking??

My cooking skills were limited only to coffee and maggi(yes, for me they really mean food, cooking food) but today ma and aunt being out for a function..I actually cooked dinner for me and dad.Well, only a sabzi ;)

Dad took a first bite and this is what he said
It lacks salt, the potato should have been cooked a bit more, the onions are over cooked, needs a little more mirchi but still it tastes 'delicious' :D
I said 'Thanks Dad' I knew I inherited cooking skills from ya and than I took a bite and said lets just order pizza :P
