Tours & Travels

Travelling is not my cup of tea,but the month October can be termed as my travelling era ;)
5trips to Mysore,2trips to Maharashtra,1trip to Kolar,1trip to Devanahalli(tough it is in Bengalooru the time it takes i could have reached TN ,so i guess it can be counted lol).

Mysore trips-
These were official so no fun! Just plug in your earphones,sleep for an hour or so by the time you wake up your in Mysore.

Maharashtra-
1trip was to Shirdi
Bangalore-Ahmadabad Express
Coach B2-3Ac
It was a very comfortable journey,side upper berth,window view,clean toilets
24hr journey was over like in 24 min.. :)

But return journey was a terrible one..still recovering from the sound of 'chai,chai,coffee,chai'
Karnataka Express
Coach S9-SC
Since there were no tickets available,tatkal was the only option sorry second class tatkal was the only option,this was the second time on train for me.
Other than writing what terribly went wrong,i would rather give you some safety precautions & tips:

Tips & Safety Precautions:
1.There's guaranteed to be at least one loud snorer in each compartment. That adds up to around a dozen of them in each carriage! So,don't forget your earplugs!!

2.The busiest time in the bathrooms is in the morning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., so either get up early or sleep late.

3.Don't leave your luggage unsecured or your valuables on display.

4.Make sure you carry lots of small change for your purchases.

5.Sleep ,Sleep,Sleep.

6.Carry a good book.

By this time you must have guessed what i meant by the word 'terrible', yeah i forgot a good book,i had no change and the vendors refused to give me change,it took me nearly an hour just to brush my teeth,i lost my cdman :(, snoring is no good music yeah forgot earplugs too and all this time i was awake.

From the second time train traveller this is all i could experience,hope this little gyaan helps in some way.

Kolar and Devanahalli trip-
I need not say much about traffic,KSRTC buses and worst roads in and around Bengalooru,do i? ;)
